The First round announcement for the 2^nd

International Symposium on High-quality Application of Southeast Asian Biomass Resources  

The 2^nd International Symposium on High-quality Application of Southeast Asian Biomass Resources will be held in Nanning, Guangxi, China on Dec. 30-31, 2022. The symposium is hosted by the Forest Chemistry & Engineering Branch of Chinese Society of Forest, Chemistry and Chemical Industry Society of Guangxi, Guangxi Minzu University and co-organized by School of Chemistry & Engineering of Guangxi Minzu University, Key Laboratory of Chemistry and Engineering of Forest Products, State Ethnic Affairs Commission, Guangxi Key Laboratory of Chemistry and Engineering of Forest Products, Guangxi Collaborative Innovation Center for Chemistry and Engineering of Forest Products, Guangxi Minzu University, guangxi first class disciplines of chinese material medica from Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, and supported by Guangxi Forestry Research Institute, Guangxi Dinghong Resin Co . , Ltd. All the related unites and scholars across the country dealing with research and application of biomass resources are welcomed to attend the international symposium.

The symposium will focus on the high quality application of Southeast Asian biomass resources and communicate on the research progress on the separation and purification of active components, activity test, novel product development of oleorosin, melaleuca alternifolia oil, cassava, cinnamon, anise and other biomass resources in China and around the world. The following sessions are included as follows:

1. High-quality application of forest chemical product

2. Research of forest Products

3. Processing and utilization of forest-derived medicinal plants

4. Research and application of environmental friendly auxiliaries for wood-based panel

Many famous scholars and technical specialists from enterprises are invited to give plenary lectures. The keynote speakers identified include Chinese Academician Song Zhanqian, Academician Jiang Jianchun, Academician Wang Shuangfei, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering Huining Xiao, Professor Zheng Liu and Dehua Liu from Tsinghua University, Professor Yujie Fu and Jianxin Jiang from Beijing Forestry University, Professor Shijie Liu from SUNY collage of ESF USA, Professor Zhanying Zhang from Queensland University of Technology, Professor Razal Ramon from UPLB College of Forestry & Natural Resources, Professor Nguyen Trong Kien from Vietnam National University of Forestry and Professor Preecha Pratheph from Mahasarakham University. All the related unites and scholars across the country dealing with research and application of biomass resources are welcomed to attend the international symposium.

Speech Abstracts

Abstracts both in Chinese and English should be submitted to SEAbiomass@163.com, and both abstracts are limited to be presented in less than two pages. They should be attached by author’s name, telephone number, detail address of affiliated institution, post code and mail address, main references and fund information. Background, experimental methods, results with discussion and conclusions should also be included.

The deadline for abstract submission is Dec. 26, 2022.
